Assignment:
Requirement 1: Determine a single linear regression equation between dependentvariable Y and each of independent variables X, X1, X2, and X3 individually.
Requirement 2 (Optional): Determine a multiple linear regression equation betweendependent variable Y and independent variables X1, X2, and X3. (Use of MicrosoftExcel Data Analysis Tool is suggested.)
Requirement 3: Select the equations from Requirements 1 and 2 that are acceptablefor use in trip generation analysis. (At a minimum, a minimum value of R-squared,such as 0.65, should be set as the criteria and compared with the value of R-squaredfor each equation. Optimally, an F-test and/or t-test should be conducted.)
t-test is for what in requirement 3????
